Qristyl Frazier, founder of QFD

Qristyl Frazier dazzles the “plus” community with her exhilarating designs that are created specifically to make the curvy woman of today feel confident, sophisticated and “Plus Sexy”. Her riveting designs continue to pave the way for a fashion revolution within the curvy community. Qristyl is shaking up the design world by creating custom pieces which contain high-end fabrics and are tailored by height and size for that precise fit for each individual diva. Her designs continue to give hope to the plus consumers with her bold yet sophisticated looks that are sure to keep heads turning and confidence on the rise. Qristyl Frazier Designs is a high fashioned clothing line that graced its presence within the curvy community in 2006. It evolved from one woman’s vision: to eliminate the negative stereotypes that lingered amongst the plus fashion world by creating fashion lines that give women the feeling of sexiness and confidence to rise above the negativity in order to conquer the world.

Qristyl has worked with several reputable industry giants such as “Sean by Sean Combs”, “Alice and Olivia”, “Victoria’s Secret”, and more. Her 20 years of designing experience led her to establish a New York based fashion house for curvy women. “Fashion with a passion” is Qristyl’s lifelong goal. Her main priority is to provide an avenue for curvy women to proudly flaunt their fabulous frames without the fear of rejection. “I wanted to create designs that made people recognize a full figured woman when she enters a crowded room. To have a curvy woman gain attention in a crowded room is one thing, but to have a confident, well dressed full-figured diva gain the same control – that right there is a powerful thing.” In addition to creating figure-flattering designs for shapely women, she aims to empower and serve her community by being an advocate for woman’s rights and acceptance.

Known for her jaw-dropping, headlining manifestation on BET’s 2006, 2008 and 2012 Rip the Runway, Qristyl has gained a vast amount of media attention from around the world. With prominent magazine features and radio and television appearances that range from The Steve Harvey Show’s “Plus Size Spring Fashion Show”, Project Runway – Season 6, All On The Line with Joe Zee – Season 2, NuvoTv’s hit reality show Curvy Girls, The Rachel Ray Show, QVC, CNN Living, Essence Magazine, Jet Magazine, Plus Model Magazine, Venus Daily Diva, Curvaceous Redemption Magazine, The Cover of Skorch Magazine, The Examiner, and more. She was also one of seventeen selected for Macy’s 2012 Vendor Elite Class. Currently, Qristyl will be collaborating with OWN Channel’s ravishing hit TV show where she will appear as one of the designers chosen to have OWN’s Kym Whitley wear Qristy Frazier Designs during Season 3 of “Raising Whitley”.

Qristyl Frazier’s collections exhibit stylish, well-fabricated everyday fashions as well as swim suits that are chicly designed to provide an even shape and cover blemished areas of the average plus beauties. Her attention to detail and superior customer service has developed her reputation as one of the “TOP” plus designers in the world.
